I have mixed feelings on the Atelier Yves Saint Laurent gown Kate donned for the Oscars.

The colors were lovely, the detail was very pretty ... I think it's the one shoulder thing that seems a bit disagreeable to me.

What did you think?

Those stunning earrings are Chopard, by the way.

Oh, and can I just say that I am b.o.r.e.d of the nude lip? Please, ladies, can we have a little color?

There can be no question that Sarah Jessica Parker is at the tippety-top of my fashion*crush list.

She was stunning in the mint green Dior Haute Couture she wore Sunday night.

SJP has indeed perfected the grown-up ballerina look.

{much more elegant than the tutu over denim ensemble I subscribed to as a child}

While I am not sure that Amy Adams made the best choice with this red Carolina Herrera, the Fred Leighton necklace is a smash hit!

The stones are a killer combination with her green eyes.

All About the Oscars

Today is all about the Oscars my dears!

I must admit that I was a tad disappointed this year - nothing knocked my socks off and I felt like most of the fashions were a little bland.

{I prefer a little more excitement...le sigh}

With that said, there were some definite fashion wins throughout the evening!

Let's start with Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard.

Penelope wore a stunning vintage Balmain and Marion dazzled in Haute Couture Dior with Chopard jewels.

Marion may have been my favorite of the night ....
