I adore Heidi Merrick's collection.

She keeps things relatively classic and simple with little pops of whimsy - like a bright punch of color, a stripe, or an exposed zipper.

It's not exactly in my budget to pick up any Merrick pieces this fall (unless I happen to find them resale, of course), but I'm definitely earmarking my favorite looks from the autumn collection and collecting pieces to mimic the ensembles.

First of all, what a lovely shade that champagne is on her skin.

I also think her shorter locks and carmelly highlights are really nice for summer.

Her gold jewelry is perfect for warmer weather - it's about this time every year that I move from white to yellow gold...it just compliments the sunshine so nicely!

I have to admit a *major* style crush on Evangeline Lilly.

Practically all I did last summer was watch old episodes of Lost while drinking cold beverages and thinking of ways I could make my hair wave like hers does.

I also loved her jeans and tank top style so much, that I went ultra-casual during the warm months. Sometimes, nothing beats denim and flip flops.



And hello, is Matthew Fox not totally gorgeous? Of course, I loved him just as much as Charlie Salinger in Party of Five.

I really think that Ms. E.L.P. looks cute as a button in this shot.


The au natural look can be so refreshing.

But notice that although her face looks fresh, her fingernails are brightly painted.

I think that's the trend we can expect to see this Spring and Summer - just say no to the french manicure and go for bright and beautiful!

Well done, Hillary Duff.

I can hardly believe I'm saying it - but Duff looks lovely in this shot.

The scarf and tank look {which I loved last summer} will apparently be with us for another season, and I love that Hillary's jazzed it up even more with swingy chandelier hoop earrings.

Plus, look at the super*sweet mug she's carrying! Reduce paper cup waste, take your own mug to the coffee shop next time you visit!
