Re*Purposing

Glancing Girl here ...

The idea of re-purposing has become really important in my wardrobe.

I like to think about how I can use a piece differently, or in a new way before I give up on it.

That's why I love this image ...

An over-sized blouse or tunic {I think even a man's button up would work}, and a beautiful silk sash.

What a pretty spin on an otherwise boring-ish white top!

Re*Purposing

Glancing Girl here ...

I *adore* these flower heels that Ms. Spinach made by re*purposing a few items.

She was inspired by these beauties...

These would add a lovely splash of creativity to summer dresses and cropped pants.

I think it's as simple as using flower pins to attach a silk bloom of your choice to the ankle strap.

Soooooooo cute.

Re*Purposing

Glancing Girl here ...

I love to talk about re*purposing because it fits so thoroughly with the mission of Second Glance & The Annex.

These adorable button bouquets from RBK Creations on Etsy are ridiculously creative, eclecticly chic, and a fabulous example of re*purposement.
