Where to start ... this look is something like modern Jackie O with a twist.
The bones of the ensemble are absolutely classical; oversized sunglasses, a practical overcoat, proper heels.
But the details are so modern and sexy. The red of the coat, the sparkling chandelier earrings, the stiletto and cutout detail of the heel.
One of my favorite ways to dress is to pick a style icon and update the look just slightly.
This is a perfect example of just such a technique.
