lancing Girl here ...I've spent the last couple of evenings trying to get caught up with Mad Men; the first season is the only one I've watched in its entirety.
When I'm watching Mad Men, I notice my fashion tastes gravitate toward the sixties (especially in terms of makeup).
I think that's why I'm particularly infatuated with this classic face and the idea of a blow-out.

How delightfully retro is the idea of having your hair shampooed, blown dry, and set?
I haven't had it done in a couple of years, but it's such a delightful indulgence.
I think I might go back to making a habit out of it.
