So, what are your thoughts on monochromatic ensembles?

I'll admit to wearing head-to-toe black on occasion.

And sometimes, it really does work.

I think layers are critical when you're working with one color. And you can play with shades, too. Levels of softness or darkness.

And I think her little touches of metal and red fingernails become all the more interesting and dynamic.

and p.s. - you can work this look even if you're not quite 17.
