Many of the women who shop and consign in our stores are mothers.
Some have grown children, some are first-time mothers of new babies. Lots of them are tired.
Some of them don't think they have enough energy to be stylish with small children. I totally understand that. Some style is simply too complicated. And impossible to put together in between feeding babies and chauffeuring kids to school, play dates, etc.
But style doesn't have to be complex.
It can be very, very simple.
Jane Birkin is one of my style icons. And her style was defined by simplicity. And she had small children.



Simplicity is key for all of us who are busy.
But simple doesn't have to equate a lack of fashion.
Jane Birkin proves it.
