In general, I consider myself a layering kind of fashionista.
I prefer the look of multiple textures and drapes to a single piece.
But, when it comes to bootcut denim, I almost always prefer the look of simplicity on top.
The amount of flare is better counterbalanced by streamlined, I think.
So for me, the skinnier the denim, the more layers I add on top.
The more generous the cut of the denim, the sleeker I like to look everywhere else.
